After the 6th semester, students enrolled in the Software and Internet Technologies (SIT) and Computer Systems (CS) programs must complete a mandatory specialized internship as per the curriculum, with a total duration of 150 hours.

The internship must be conducted during June, July, August, and September of the current academic year, in accordance with the approved academic process structure set by the Academic Council. Students are required to intern at companies and organizations that can assign tasks relevant to their field of study.

Procedure for Conducting the Specialized Internship After the 6th Semester:

1. The student prepares a request letter addressed to a specific company for the specialized internship.
2. The letter must be signed by the company’s manager as confirmation.
3. The signed letter is submitted to the SIT Department (Office 206, TV Building).
4. The Rector of TU-Varna issues an official order assigning the student to the company that has agreed to host them for the internship.
5. The student must submit a work diary documenting the completed tasks during the internship.

Important Notes:

Students who fail to complete the internship within the specified period will not receive a semester certification. This is considered an unfulfilled academic requirement, and such students will not be eligible for a scholarship.
